Uses Of 3D Modelling

Hello fellow internet users

Product design
When using 3D modelling in general life activities such as creating a product, you would first design this product within 3D modelling software such as Cinema 4D. This is so show what the product would actually look like in real life once designed. Within this program you would be able to visualise what would make up each part for example to create the Gtech Multi which has been shown below.

Animation

When using Cinema 4D you are able to explore the many uses within animation for instance when you are showing of a product you are able to animate how the product will work. Other ways that animation would be used is within the film industry as many film companies such as Disney Pixar and Dream Works they would use CGI to create some of the biggest films which are now known in the industry.

Film

Within the film industry when using software such as Cinema 4D generally this would be used to create special effects within films, a great example of this would be Roland Emmerich's 2012. Special effects are usually used to create something that would be hard to create in the real world, for instance when editing special effect such as the tidal wave in the film 2012.

TV

When using 3D modelling within TV it is a lot like film as they would use special effects within a programme. An example for this would be in Sky Sports when they are to show the audience back at home where the ball was played, lets say if it was a foul play then the camera would show a retake and circle where the ball has been positioned.

Web and Games
When using creating Web and game within the industry, 3D modelling is very commonly used when using 3D space. Software such as Cinema 4D is used to develop a large amount of various gaming worlds. As this is so it allows the audience to become more open minded to the realism which has been created when playing a game, however the realistic effect is not always shown within games as some 3D artists use other styles when creating a game such as developing an Alien planet with unrealistic creatures and objects in the game.

Education
When focusing on the educational side by using 3D modelling; a person would be able to develop an educational video to help when teaching as say a child on how to brush their teeth. Then a short animation would be able to make the whole experience a lot more entertaining and engaging for the child so that they are more likely to follow the instructions which are shown in the clip.

Architectural
When it comes to architecture 3D modelling is very useful. This format is used for architects and interior designers to pitch an idea to a client to present what a building would look like when it comes to life. Using using software such as Cinema 4D allows the audience  to visualise the product in much more depth before making any commitments to a plan. This can show a certain atmosphere to what the building would look like from the outside/inside, when presented in day or night.
