ShotGun

Hello fellow internet users.

When creating a Shotgun I used Cinema 4D to create each individual shape and element of the gun and forming the shapes together to develop one big shape.

When creating the barrel of the gun I used the Tube shape and have pulled it by making it editable to create the right shape and size.

Once I had created the barrel of the gun I then started to form the forend, by doing so I used the Oil tank shape to create the long roundness of the forend. Once had create the size and shape of the forend I then started to develop the grip of the forend. I did this by selecting every other element of the for end then scaling on the Z and X aces so that the selected parts will then start to go in.

Once I had formed the for end of the shotgun I then used the tube tool to create the magazine tun of the gun. I then placed the object within the forend of the gun so that it looks as if they are connected. Once I had the shape and size fitted I then created a cylinder to put on the end to make a tab.

After I had made the Magazine tun of the gun I then went on to develop the receiver of the shotgun. When making the receiver I started of with a cube and extruded the shape.

When I was to create the butt stock of the gun I did this by starting off with a cubed shape to have then extrude the shape and length, I did this in stages so that I was able to curve the shape to the position the butt stock correctly. Once I had created the shape of the butt stock I then used the Hyber Nurb tool so that I was able to curve the object and give it a more rounded smooth look.

Once I had finished creating the butt stock of the gun I then went on to making the trigger of the gun. I did this by using the torus shape and then then made the shape into an editable object so that I was able to create a more atomically correct object. Once I had positioned this object into place I then used the spline tool so that I was able to form the outline of the trigger, I then used the Hyber Nurb tool so that I was able to create the points that I made with the spline into a full bold object.

After making sure that each object was in place and was the right shape and size I then went onto texturing the Shot gun so that it had more of a realistic look towards it. For Butt stock of the gun and the pump of the big I had made given a more wooden texture as these parts of the gun is where people hold, I then had made then used a cold metal texture for the rest of the gun so that it would give more developed look as guns are made out of metal.
