Hand

Hello fellow internet users.

When developing a hand on Cinema 4D I started off with a cube. Once I had my cube I then scaled this shape, by doing so I pushed the X aces inwards so that the object become more thinner as the Y and Z aces stayed the same length and size. 

Once I has finished creating the basic outline of the shape then divided the object into 3 by 4. This is so that I was able to extrude four fingers from the cube without any of the fingers to connect. I extruded each finger one by one, by doing so I look at my own hand so that I was able to gather the correct measuring for the fingers.



Once I had finished extruding the fingers I then moved onto developing the thumb of the hand, By doing so it was very similar to how I created the fingers apart from when I was to extrude each joint I also rotated to object inwards and scaled the tip of the thumb so that once to had extruded the last joint of the thumb it wouldn't look as chunky to give a more realistic look. 
Once I finished creating the base of the hand I then moved onto creating the joints, by doing so I used the joint tool and place each joint starting from the wrist of the hand to the center of the hand to then creating joint for every extruded part of the fingers and thumb. When  using the joint tool for each part I had to go back to the center joint before I was able to place another joint within a different finger.









When I finished placing each joint to place I then moved onto making the hand look more realistic. I did this by using the Hyber Nurb tool and place the cube object within in it, by doing this the cubed object would become more rounded and would have a much more softer approach.

Once I felt as it everything was placed correctly and the the shape and size looked as if it was a realist hand I then moved onto texturing the object. When texturing this object I went onto the internet to copied a skin texture, I then saved this textured onto my Mac so that I was able to place the texture onto my object.
