Interpretation of brief

Hello fellow internet users.

Grand Theft Skateboard.

When creating a 3D modelling project I will be using the software Cinema 4D when focusing on the gaming side of designing 3D models on the computer, for example I have used the games Grand Theft Auto and Skate 3 as my inspiration for this particular project. The models that I will be creating are:

• Pair of hands
• Skateboard
• Skate ramp
• Lamp posts
• Rails
• Collectables (Weapons such as a Rifle or a shot gun).

I will be modelling a pair of hands as the the game feature will be in first person so you will never be able to see the character itself but you will know you are playing as someone as from the control of the hands. You will be able to use the hands to pick of the collectables around the skate park.

Within this project I will be creating different types of skateboard which the player will be able to advance to and steal from other characters within the settings. Each skateboard will have a different advantage towards the game. 

When modelling a skating ramp I will be using this for the effect of the background to shows the audience that they are in a skating park and that is where the game is based. I will do this by creating multiple skate ramps in different shapes and sizes by creating a copy of the original model.

Another model that I will be creating for Grand Theft Skateboard will be a lamp post,  I will be creating several models with an old fashion looks from the 60's. I will be using the old fashioned lamp post for the total effect of the background to give off a vintage grimy look.

When creating rails for the skate park I will be using them for the audiences purpose so that they are able to do tricks and grind along them, they are also able to be used for when the player is going to attack other characters on the game for when they are in the middle of stealing a skateboard of their choosing.

The collectable within the game will be used for the players use, these will be weapons to be used to attack other players such as a shot gun, they will be able to collect these buy picking them up with their hands or even flipping up by using their skateboard. Another collectable would be coins, the more coins the player collects they will be able to upgrade their skateboards faster.
